Ronen Lev was founded by Jessica Wilpon Kamel, a designer and Interior architect with a background in online retail. She has a BFA in Art History and Painting from Washington University in St. Louis and a Master’s Degree in Interior Design from Pratt Institute. She has studied Textile Design at The Danish Design School in Copenhagen and Curatorial Studies at the Peggy Guggenheim Collection in Venice, Italy. After completing her Master, she worked as an Interior Architect at StudioMDA. Ronen Lev was founded in 2016.
Christina Akiskalou joined Ronen Lev as Partner in 2018. She brings over 10 years of extensive experience in the architecture and interior design field. Prior to joining, Christina served as lead Project Architect and Designer at StudioMDA since 2009. During this time she managed the design and construction of various high-end residential projects in New York with a focus on Manhattan and Brooklyn. Her portfolio includes apartments, residential townhouses and landmark buildings up to 15,000 sqft. She received her professional diploma as an architect engineer from the Aristotle University in Greece. She also studied in École nationale supérieure d’architecture de Paris-La Villette and received her Masters degree in Advanced Architectural Design from Columbia University in NYC.
